BASIS DC is seeking qualified candidates for a College Counselor for the 2026/27 school year! Overview BASIS Ed is seeking full-time College Counselors for BASIS who will be responsible for teaching a daily college counseling workshop to 12th graders, completing college counseling reports, serving as the Senior Research Project (SRP) coordinator, organizing college admissions visits each fall, conducting family college counseling evenings, meeting one-on-one with 9th and 10th graders during the academic year, instructing students on completing college admissions applications and financial aid applications and obtaining recommendations, and additional responsibilities as needed. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for developing new program ideas, co-leading college information evening sessions, and developing and maintaining college planning and career assessment and readiness software such as Naviance.
