About The Position

Collision Center Assistant/Estimator North Brothers Ford Collision Center in Westland Michigan is seeking an experienced Assistant/Estimator. At North Brothers Ford, you will be an important instrument in making a customer's bad day into an overall great experience. Our Assistant/Estimators are specialists in communication, customer focus and attention to quality and details. They serve as a liaison between the customer and the insurance company to ensure that the vehicle repairs are done right the first time and on time when promised.

Requirements

• genuine desire to serve
• previous experience as an Assistant/Estimator
• ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• proficiency in Microsoft Office
• meticulous attention to detail
• consistent composure
• clean driving record
• ability to pass a background and drug test

Nice To Haves

• experience with CDK is a plus
• previous experience with CCC estimating software

Responsibilities

• work closely with customers to repair vehicle as quickly as possible
• serve as a liaison between the customer and the insurance company
• coordinate with Certified Body Shop Technicians to ensure satisfactory completion
• quality control checks prior to customer taking delivery of vehicle
• process deductible or payments
• assist Management with daily/monthly closeout tasks
