Position Summary The Automotive Detailer – Collision Center is responsible for thoroughly cleaning, detailing, and preparing vehicles following collision repairs to ensure they are returned to customers in showroom-ready condition. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and pride in workmanship. The ideal candidate enjoys working around vehicles, maintaining high standards, and contributing to a team environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for candidates interested in automotive detailing, auto body shop operations, collision repair environments, vehicle reconditioning, or entry-level automotive careers.
Requirements

- Ability to safely operate detailing tools and equipment
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive detailing experience preferred but not required
- Experience working in an auto body shop, dealership, or car wash environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Clean and detail vehicles following collision repairs to meet dealership quality standards
- Wash vehicle exteriors, including hand washing, drying, and polishing surfaces
- Vacuum and clean interiors, including carpets, upholstery, dashboards, and consoles
- Remove dust, sanding residue, and shop contaminants from repaired vehicles
- Clean windows, mirrors, trim, and door jambs
- Apply protective treatments such as wax, tire shine, and interior protectants
- Inspect vehicles to ensure they meet delivery-ready presentation standards
- Identify and report any cosmetic concerns to the collision team before vehicle delivery
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of detailing equipment and the work area
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and environmental standards
- Support collision center technicians and staff with vehicle movement when needed
- Assist with final vehicle delivery preparation for customers
