About The Position

MrBeast is looking for a talented and experienced Production Colorist to join our full-time post-production team. This role is ideal for someone with expert-level proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, solid experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, and a strong understanding of online editorial workflows. You’ll be responsible for enhancing the visual tone of our digital content, ensuring that each frame supports the creative vision and meets technical standards.

Requirements

• Expertise in DaVinci Resolve, including advanced grading, tracking, and basic cleanup.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, especially for color integration and project roundtripping.
• Understanding of online editing workflows, including conforming edits and final QC (this is not an Online Editor role).
• Experience with TV post-production workflows and broadcast finishing standards.
• Experience working with color panels inside Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with After Effects and VFX shot handoffs.
• Understanding of broadcast delivery formats and technical specifications.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently with tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Perform color grading in DaVinci Resolve, aligning with the creative vision of directors and editors.
• Operate color panels in Adobe Premiere Pro as needed and understand Premiere’s color workflows.
• Roundtrip projects between Premiere Pro and Resolve while maintaining fidelity and accuracy.
• Use tracking and rotoscoping tools within Resolve for precise, selective corrections and light cleanup work.
• Collaborate with the post team to conform VFX and After Effects shots into the final picture for accurate color grading.
• Identify and help troubleshoot frame and playback issues (e.g., skipped or doubled frames) common in television post.
• Assist in prepping final deliverables, including syncing picture and audio for mastering and delivery.
