Command & Control Engineer
About The Position
CloudFit Software is seeking Cloud Command and Control Engineers to join our growing Command and Control Center team in beautiful Downtown, Lynchburg, VA. CloudFit Command and Control Engineers (CCEs) protect our customers’ interests 24x7x365 as they backstop our CloudFit Software Automation. CloudFit CCEs engage with customers in critical situations, CloudFit CCEs must be comfortable working with our executives in a fast paced environment. CloudFit CCEs will interface with customer's business, development, and operations via phone, tickets, and email. “As a C4 engineer, our primary job is incident management and alerting. We match the CFS queue for any alerts/incidents that come through, and when they come through we execute that protocol that was put into place, such as creating bridges/PIR’s, communicating to the On-Call, as well as doing some initial investigations on our own.” – Charlie Gebetsberger, Command & Control Engineer at CloudFit
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level of adaptability and flexibility; able to multi-task and work on numerous projects simultaneously
- Excitement for working in a face paced environment
- High degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with others
- Ability to prioritize tasks/projects and handle critical situations efficiently
- Passion for working and communicating with necessary stakeholders (customers, team members, community members, etc.)
- Excellent communicator with great verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- High technical aptitude; ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
- Hunger to grow and learn more - this is an entry level role with endless potential for career development
- Current Federal Security Clearance or ability to obtain (US Citizenship required)
- CloudFit participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm you are authorized to work in the U.S.

- Proven track record of leading customers digital transformation though cloud services management
- Engineering, Mathematics, Management Information Services or Computer Science Degree (or certificate)

- Interface with customer and CloudFit executive management both proactively and reactively
