About The Position

As a Commercial Analyst, you’ll be the connective tissue across Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Technical/Customer Support—turning operational data into actions that improve customer experience, revenue operations, and fulfillment efficiency. You’ll analyze trends, build dashboards, streamline processes (SOPs/workflows), and support ERP/CRM enhancements to drive measurable improvements in service quality and commercial performance. Industry requirement: Life Science or Biotech experience is mandatory for this role.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Operations, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in customer operations, supply chain, commercial operations, or commercial support within Life Sciences/Biotech (mandatory).
  • Analytics: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; comfort with data validation, pivoting, and performance tracking. (Power BI/Tableau/Looker a plus.)
  • Systems: Familiarity with ERP (e.g., D365, Oracle, SAP) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce); experience testing enhancements and documenting user guides.
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work across functions and time zones with crisp, outcome-oriented communication.
  • Execution: Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable; able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of global logistics, trade compliance, or fulfillment operations.
  • Experience running small projects (timeline/risks/stakeholders) and preparing training/enablement materials.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze customer & technical service cases, orders, shipping data, and support inquiries to spot patterns, bottlenecks, and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain dashboards & reports that track KPIs for commercial operations (e.g., case resolution time, order accuracy, on-time delivery, CSAT/NPS, quote-to-cash cycle).
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights on customer behaviors, trends, and satisfaction drivers to guide strategic decisions.
  • Partner with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Technical Support to troubleshoot and resolve issues in order processing, delivery, and invoicing.
  • Lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects using structured problem-solving and data-driven hypotheses.
  • Develop and document scalable SOPs and workflows; ensure consistency and auditability as the business grows.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, trade regulations, and quality standards across the customer order lifecycle.
  • Support ERP/CRM enhancement projects (e.g., testing, data validation, feedback capture, training documentation, and light user enablement).
  • Maintain strong SFDC hygiene and KPI tracking; contribute to tooling improvements and adoption.
