We have an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Associate with 3-6 years of complex commercial litigation and class action experience to join our Los Angeles – Century City office. As an associate in the Litigation Department, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and class action matters at a law firm; trial experience is a plus.
- Experience drafting pleadings and contested motions, including complaints, motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, oppositions to class certification, etc.
- Hands-on experience with discovery, including taking and defending depositions and working closely with expert witnesses.
- Exceptional legal writing skills and strong academic credentials; writing ability is critical for this position. Please submit two writing samples with your application.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal communication abilities.
- Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing is required.
