Carrier Enterprise (CE) currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Business Development Representative at our Carrollton, TX location. Join a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, parts, and supplies, and be part of a team that excels in providing top-notch HVAC/R solutions through licensed HVAC/R dealers and contractors. Carrier Enterprise (CE) is a premier national distributor specializing in residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products, parts, and supplies. We operate primarily in the B2B environment, selling our products through licensed HVAC dealers and contractors. These dealers are independent companies that sell, deliver, and service Carrier, Bryant & Payne products to residences and businesses in their respective markets. With over 200+ locations across 28 states, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico, and Canada, we are well-positioned to meet our customers' HVAC/R needs. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build client relationships, and drive revenue growth for our organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-3 years of sales development, business development, or relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and meet targets

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Research and identify potential clients and market opportunities
  • Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies using multiple channels (email, phone, social media, networking)
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Sales Development
  • Conduct product/service demonstrations and presentations to prospects
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and pricing information
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and follow up systematically
  • Relationship Building
  • Establish and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Maintain professional communication throughout the sales cycle
  • Act as a brand ambassador and gather market feedback
  • Account Management
  • Coordinate with sales and account teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
  • Track all business development activities and maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Contribute to achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Market Intelligence
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Provide insights to inform company strategy and positioning
  • Participate in industry events and networking opportunities
