About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from preconstruction planning through final completion in Edina, Minnesota. This full-time, on-site role focuses on managing commercial building projects including tenant improvements, renovations, and ground-up construction across various sectors. The Project Manager will coordinate project planning, budgeting, subcontractor management, and scheduling to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple construction phases while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager
  • Strong knowledge of commercial building construction, renovation, or tenant improvement projects
  • Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination
  • Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for client and team coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or phases simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout in Edina, MN
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineering teams throughout project execution
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure scope alignment
  • Monitor job costs, change orders, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct regular project meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards, safety requirements, and local building codes
  • Identify and resolve project challenges to maintain schedule and budget targets
  • Maintain organized project documentation including RFIs, submittals, schedules, and reports
  • Support project closeout including punch list completion and final inspections
