Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday Pay: $30.00/hr. or possibly higher depending on experience. Remote / Onsite Work available. Preference will be made to applicants who live in Utah. Your Purpose will be: The person in this position will analyze all business loan information and verify documentation. What you’ll do: Review internal loan packages and all documents to complete underwriting process. Assist with phone inquiries from credit union branches and commercial officers. Review collateral value and verify collateral positions with appraisal and title information. Prepare cash flow analysis for all new loans. Writes credit presentations for all new loan requests. Decision loans within lending authority. Review credit report to verify loan requests meet lending guidelines. Follow all underwriting criteria to ensure good decisions. Help train and mentor branches on correct lending practices. Help create and maintain all Commercial Credit Analyst procedures. Understand and backs up all other Commercial Credit Analyst 1 duties. Other duties as assigned. Understands the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied. Requirements The experience you need to succeed: 1 to 3 years’ experience with Loan Origination in a financial lending environment. Prior working knowledge on commercial real estate, C&I, and/or SBA loans is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance strongly preferred. Trade-offs for education and experience may be considered. Ability to write clear, well-reasoned credit presentations and memos, and articulate risk, mitigants, and recommendations. Experience reviewing and interpreting: Appraisals and environmental reports, Title commitments and lien positions Credit reports, and background information. Proficient with standard office business machinery and software, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook. Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Works primarily in a remote environment location. With the option to work in office. (Hybrid or work from home employees must be able to report in office if required.) While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly need to: see, talk, hear, and perform repetitive movements with arms, hands, and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, and reach.
