About The Position

As a Commercial Credit Analyst, you’ll analyze financial data and assess creditworthiness to support the bank’s lending functions. Your role will involve preparing financial analyses, evaluating loan files, and assisting with compliance and reporting requirements. This position works closely with our lending team to maintain a high standard of service and risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a credit analysis role is preferred but not required.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial information to evaluate creditworthiness and risks.
• Complete financial loan presentation, reporting results to lending officer(s), and maintain various loan reports.
• Assist with loan documentation, including applications for SBA, FSA, or WHEDA guarantees.
• Provide timely follow-up on recommendations and resolutions.
• Assist external auditors and ensure compliance with bank policies.
• Maintain tickler systems for tracking key items and deadlines.
