Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of banking experience, with a working knowledge of commercial loan review procedures and current lending regulations.
  • Local to South Central PA / Northern MD region and able to travel to the Gettysburg, PA office when needed.
  • A fast learner with strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and independently.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret financial statements with precision and clarity.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills—nothing gets past you!
  • Clear and professional communication skills—you're comfortable explaining complex financial data to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements to assess creditworthiness and assign appropriate risk ratings on commercial loan requests.
  • Prepare detailed credit write-ups to support lending decisions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Support relationship managers and lenders by providing timely financial analysis and insight to guide loan structuring and risk assessment.
  • Monitor and stay informed on relevant industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to credit analysis and commercial lending.
  • Assist in the preparation of Board and management reports, including monthly summaries of lending activity and risk trends.
