Job Summary: The Job Foreman is responsible for supervising apprentices, ensuring the safe, timely, and code-compliant completion of projects. As the primary on-site contact, the Foreman manages day-to-day operations, address customer inquiries, and coordinates closely with the Project Manager. This role also involves overseeing material needs, maintaining site cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in electrical work or a related field.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician’s License.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to be insured under company vehicle insurance policy.
- Physical capability to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Strong verbal communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise helpers/apprentices to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.
- Ensure all work is performed safely, meets code compliance, and is completed on schedule.
- Act as the on-site liaison between the Project Manager and customers, handling inquiries and resolving issues.
- Coordinate material needs with the Warehouse Director and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site.
- Follow all company policies, especially regarding vehicle use and job site conduct.
