ur client, a local Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning HVAC Contractor, has asked us to assist in finding their next great hire to join a team of professionals as they grow. We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join them before winter's end. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, takes pride in excellent customer service, and can work independently and as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

2+ years proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and equipment manuals.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team member, efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Desire to work as a team and take responsibility for projects/work.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling systems for residential and commercial customers.
Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC systems.
Travel to job sites within the service area; communicate with dispatch regarding scheduling or delays.
Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for nights and weekends to support emergency service needs.
Maintain company vehicle, including refueling, reporting mechanical issues, completing inspection forms, and keeping it clean.
Manage proper inventory of parts, tools, and safety equipment.
Understand company pricing to generate accurate customer invoices onsite; ensure proper customer signatures and equipment details are collected.
Document all equipment upon arrival (make, model, serial numbers, fuel type, test measurements, and photos as needed).
Diagnose service issues, secure replacement parts, perform system calibrations per manufacturer guidelines, and clearly explain findings and solutions to customers.
Attend company-provided training to stay current with industry technologies.
Identify opportunities for additional services, system upgrades, or maintenance contracts, and report them to the Operations Manager and CEO.
