The Electrical Mechanic is responsible for ensuring quality service and installation for our commercial and/or industrial customers and doing so by always promoting safety.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in the electrical trade
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Vocational school or prior training preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Experience seeing electrical system installs from start to finish
  • Cutting, bending, threading and installation of different types of conduit in all sizes
  • Experience bending offsets, 3 points, 4 points, saddles, kicks, 90's, etc.
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints, coordinated drawings, wiring diagrams, submittals, etc.
  • Assisting in hooking up/terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, and various electrical devices
  • Understanding of PLCs, controls, and industrial manufacturing a plus
  • Work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices
