We are currently seeking a dedicated Commercial Kitchen Appliance Repair Maintenance Technician to support the safety, appearance, and functionality of our stores in the Nouria footprint across the CT, MA and RI. This hands-on role ensures our facilities remain operational and customer-ready, contributing to the overall success of our stores.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in C Store, Quick Serve Restaurant or Retail facility maintenance, general contracting, or related trade work.
- Ability to independently perform a wide range of building maintenance tasks.
- Commercial Kitchen Appliance and beverage equipment repair and maintenance (e.g., coffee machines, ovens, coolers).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to adapt to various repair challenges.
- Proficient in using email and mobile dispatch/work order applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Flexibility to work overtime and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks including light carpentry, painting, plumbing, and other basic building repairs.
- Respond to and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner across multiple store locations.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and maintain standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment and building issues independently.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on kitchen and beverage equipment commonly found in convenience stores, including: Coffee and cappuccino machines Fountain and frozen beverage dispensers Pizza ovens and warmers Roller grills and microwaves Refrigeration units and coolers
- Maintain company-issued tools and vehicle in safe and clean condition.
- Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Manager and fellow technicians.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies during repair work.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency service needs.
