The position of Commercial Lender assists in maintaining this standard by providing loans for our business customers. Commercial Lenders are responsible for soliciting, negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of commercial loans with respect to lending regulations and bank policy. As part of our team, Commercial Lenders also prospect new customers, provide active engagement in their communities, and present loan packages to our loan team and committee. Commercial Lenders at Magnolia State Bank perform their work in-office while also contributing a significant amount of their time to visiting customers off site. New Lenders will be expected to manage both current accounts as well as initiate new business by identifying potential business customers in need of bank financial support.
