About The Position

8-week Internship program with Lending Team & Credit to observe and to review credit and financial reports to determine risk involved in loaning money or extending credit.

Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, or Finance, preferably enrolled in Commercial Banking Certificate Program.
• Minimum junior in college (to be senior or pursuing Master’s in the next Academic year.
• Ability to work on multiple transactions simultaneously and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex financial information and identify relevant risks.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• One-week basic Credit Analysis training.
• Spreading and analysis of commercial financial statements for prospective and existing loan customers.
• Reviewing loan request presentation packages including loan structuring, collateral analysis, guarantor analysis, and calculation of Global Debt Service Coverage.
• Rotations through various departments as available.
• Shadowing opportunities as assigned.
• Customer meetings and calls assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
