About The Position
FreeStar Financial Credit Union is looking for an enterprising and dynamic for Commercial Lending Sales. If you would love to use your skills in building relationships and enhancing the credit union's commercial sales portfolio , this may be the right role for you! Position Purpose: The primary purpose of Commercial Lending Sales is to develop FreeStar Financial Credit Union's Commercial Lending business by building and enhancing relationships with new and existing members, as well as gathering and analyzing potential members' financial information to determine their qualifying status for commercial loans.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of demonstrated success in an independent sales role in the financial industry.
- Existing knowledge and experience with commercial loan products and services required.
- Thorough understanding of the industry and industry trends.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Identify prospective customers, follow up on potential lending leads, and maintain sales relationships with existing members.
- Develop and maintain relationships in Commercial Real Estate, Building Trades, Commercial and/or Industrial Equipment industry, and other related industry groups.
- Work closely with the Marketing department to develop marketing strategies designed for target markets.
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities.
- Interview and answer any questions concerning loans and rates.
- Collate, review and verify loan documents necessary for the transaction.
- Interview and pre-qualify members and obtain all required or necessary documentation.
