Requirements
- Active P&C license
- 4+ years of commercial lines account management at a retail brokerage
- Proven track record of maintaining a book of business composed of contractors, real estate, and construction accounts
- Comprehensive understanding of diverse insurance coverages, products, and agency protocols
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, producers, and underwriters
- Provide exceptional customer service, built on trust and professionalism
- Marketing new and renewal business
- Initial review of policies and preparation of coverage breakdowns
- Responding to correspondence, telephone, and in-person inquiries from insureds regarding coverage, policy changes, premium payments, and other related matters
- Assist with the gathering of renewal exposure information for the producer
- Consult with clients on coverage options and offer the most appropriate coverage for the client
- Manage information requests and documentation effectively
- Prepare thorough applications for submission, incorporating underwriting information from producers
