Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of success in new business development and renewals; recent graduates with a strong sales mentality and hunger for success will also be considered
• Relevant insurance licenses preferred
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Applied Epic (or similar CRM/insurance software)
• Strong communication, active listening, and relationship-building abilities
• Open to hybrid or fully remote arrangements; candidates must be willing to attend team functions periodically

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of mid-market accounts with premiums of $25K or higher
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders
• Negotiate deals with underwriters to secure optimal coverage for clients
• Drive new business growth while maintaining high client retention rates
• Collaborate with account managers and administrative support to ensure seamless service delivery
• Participate in team functions and contribute to a positive workplace culture

Benefits

• Base Salary: Starting at $70,000 (negotiable based on experience)
• Commission Structure: 50% on new business, 30-40% on renewals (based on performance)
