Position Summary: Supervise Commercial Processor group on their day to day operations while providing guidance, encouragement, and performance measures in a positive work environment. Provide periodic training on programs and processes to the Commercial staff. Ensure team provides quality work in a timely fashion while maintaining excellent customer service. Research and delegate Compliance and Audit requests. Perform Commercial Processor duties during high volume or high stress situations. Provide administrative support to all Commercial and Ag Lenders.

Requirements

  • Responsible to the VP Commercial Loan Documentation Officer
  • Will have contact with customers and bank staff on a regular basis
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is required
  • Ability to multitask and stay focused
  • Excellent instructional skills using a variety of teaching techniques
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, confidentiality, and phone skills necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with software systems such as Navigator, ComplianceOne, Microsoft Office, and Director preferred. Basic Accounting knowledge also preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Commercial Processor group
  • Assist in hiring staff and providing recommendations
  • Assess training needs of Commercial support staff
  • Design and create training materials for department processes
  • Deliver training and staff development in areas including but not limited to department procedures and programs
  • Hold weekly huddles to energize team and discuss processes
  • Schedule and assist in quarterly team meetings
  • Prepare loan documents; etc. as needed
  • Maintain proper documentation on all loans including FSA, SBA, Agri-Access and Farmer Mac loans
  • Assist in processing of loan requests – research loans, codes and collateral
  • Assist loan officers as needed, including various administrative tasks
  • Ensure proper perfection and tracking of security for loans
  • Track exception documents and verify receipt thereof
  • Provide support for Compliance and Audit requests
  • Review tickler reports, missing files/CIP/CBO reports, etc. for processing staff
  • Ensure schedules and deadlines are met – manage workflow by monitoring incoming requests
  • Be knowledgeable of all processing department procedures, loan documentation and regulations and ensuring staff follows appropriately
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
