As a team member with Temp-Con, you are more than an employee; you are family! We are seeking a skilled and experienced New Construction Commercial Plumber to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining plumbing systems in new commercial buildings. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints, following building codes, and working efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and repair piping systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial buildings.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe using hand and power tools.
  • Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Install water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas piping according to project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plumbing installations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to OSHA and company safety policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a commercial plumber, preferably in new construction.
  • Valid plumbing license or certification (as required by state/local regulations).
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using plumbing tools, including pipe cutters, threading machines, and welding equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform manual labor.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with large-scale commercial projects.
  • Familiarity with modern plumbing technologies and materials.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
