About The Position

With a national presence, we currently manage projects across the United States, including work at Kings Bay, Georgia. Our experienced field operations teams support projects on-site nationwide, ensuring quality and efficiency at every stage. We specialize in fast-track, new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus on the Department of Defense market. Position Summary RQ is seeking skilled Plumbers to join our Mechanical team supporting ongoing work in Florida at Hurlburt Field AFB, Pensacola, and the surrounding areas. All work is conducted on a military installation and is paid in compliance with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates applicable to that specific base . Plumbers are responsible for the fabrication and installation of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment on active construction sites. This role requires applying technical mechanical knowledge to ensure all work complies with applicable codes and standards. Work must be performed using proper tools, equipment, and safety practices, in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position
- 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level plumbing in a commercial or facilities operations setting is required
- All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
- all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).
