About The Position
ISHPI is seeking a COMMS/Networking Engineer (hybrid) to support the Command and Control (C2) Afloat Integration Support (C2AIS) for the U.S. Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) in Portsmouth, VA. This role will manage the supported systems of the C5ISC and provides services to include system engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, network engineering, test engineering, electronic engineering, and technical writing.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or Communications Engineering and four (4) years of work experience in the field of communications/network engineering is required.
- A current System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or equivalent certification is required.
- Additional specific information assurance certification requirements may be required.
- Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD government security clearance.
