About The Position

Under the general direction of the Communications Specialist, provides comprehensive administrative, clerical, and program support to the Communications and Volunteer Program. Plays a key role in supporting CAPSLO’s mission by ensuring efficient, organized, and responsive administrative support for the Communications team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid CA Driver's License, auto insurance, and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with graphic design preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical support for the Communications program, department, and related components.
  • Serve as back‑up support for the CAPSLO Communications and Volunteer Team.
  • Support administrative processing functions within the Communications team.
  • Work closely with vendors to obtain quotes and coordinate shipping.
  • Assist in preparing purchase requisitions for programmatic promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with programs and the Purchasing Department to obtain approvals and complete vouching for promotional materials.
  • Monitor the Merchandise email inbox.
  • Coordinate payments and the delivery of merchandise.
  • Coordinate the pulling and processing of merchandise orders.
  • Maintain the online shop.
  • Track and manage inventory of Agency merchandise.
  • Coordinate the pulling of new‑hire bundles and other promotional materials.
  • Assist with pulling content monthly for the agency‑wide newsletter and social media channels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
