This position is designed for current junior or senior students at Brenau University in the Communication program within the College of Business and Communication. The role involves assisting the Director of Marketing and Communications with various tasks related to internal and external communication, media relations, and content creation. The candidate will be expected to write news releases, articles, and updates, as well as provide proofreading services. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and/or Google Docs. The candidate should have a passion for writing and the ability to accept critiques and make necessary adjustments to their work. The role is part-time, requiring 12-15 hours of work per week, generally during weekdays.
