Job PurposeEnerSys®, a NYSE-listed company, is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual for a Communications Intern position for the summer of 2025. This paid 10-12-week internship offers hands-on experience in a corporate sales environment, where you will gain exposure to sales strategies, customer engagement, business development, market research, and sales operations. As a Communications Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with experienced sales professionals, and develop essential skills to thrive in a competitive business landscape.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program (Business, Marketing, Sales, Electrical Engineering preferred).
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think independently, manage relationships, and pay attention to detail. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools (preferred). A solid academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Availability to work on-site for 10-12 weeks at Bellingham, WA office.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team with current projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Assist in lead generation, prospect outreach, and customer relationship management. Analyze sales data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in sales calls, meetings, and presentations to gain hands-on experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales materials, proposals, and presentations.
