Requirements

Coursework and/or strong interest in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge, experience, and passion for sports.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated experience with digital/social content at a professional level.
Ability to multi-task effectively.
Strong organizational skills.
Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Responsibilities

Prepare and distribute internal newsletters and other content highlighting media coverage or key initiatives.
Research, develop, and maintain media contact distribution lists.
Assist the Communications team with development of key messages, statements, media alerts, news releases, and website copy as needed.
Assist with coordination of onsite media interviews.
Provide communications support for the company’s community service programs.
Identify and apply for awards that reflect IMG Academy’s excellence in sports, education, and technology.
Partner with internal teams to craft and share updates that celebrate team member achievements, program milestones, and organizational initiatives.
Support internal engagement efforts by coordinating communications that keep team members, coaches, and student-athletes informed and connected.
Assist in collecting and incorporating feedback from internal audiences to enhance communication strategies and strengthen the workplace experience.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
