Central City Concern is an innovative nonprofit agency providing comprehensive services to single adults and families in the Portland metro area who are impacted by homelessness, poverty and addictions. The Henry Building: The historic Henry Building is a six-story building in downtown Portland. The Henry reopened in 2020 after undergoing a seismic rehab. 172 units are single-room occupancy with shared bathroom facilities. There is one Fair Market studio unit. The Henry houses participants from CCC's Parole Transition Program (PTP) and Veteran's Grants Per Diem program. The Community Building Assistant performs routine building cleaning, upkeep and monitoring of building activities and is an integral member of the property management and supportive housing team. This person is responsible for the upkeep of buildings, identifying and reporting resident issues, and maintaining the cohesion and livability of the community. Other key responsibilities are to provide assistance to residents, to effectively coordinate with other building staff, and to identify issues and opportunities in the community Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 8:00 pm-6:30 am and Monday & Tuesday 7:00 pm-5:30 am Location: The Henry Building, 309 SW 4th Ave, Portland, OR 97209 Compensation: $19.97 per hour Seniority Bid Window Closes : 1/28/26
