About The Position

This position provides support for the Flathead Market management and staff, in addition to administrative functions, are responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. The Community Coordinator will oversee a wide variety of projects including community outreach, market events, calendar updates, event communication, and work with marketing to ensure positive exposure. It requires product knowledge to support frequent customer contact in the development of new business through the servicing of requests, identifying and calling on potential customers and representing the bank in community activities.

Requirements

  • Financial institution experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Good interpersonal/team skills with ability to develop effective working relationships; among staff, leadership, and marketing.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Office programs.

  • Participate in community events and organizations – leverage participation to generate new business for the bank.
  • Evaluating and improving sales, marketing, and branding strategies.
  • Help craft processes, procedures, tracking, and data assimilation as it pertains to the growth in the Flathead Market.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to management.
  • Monitor progress and projects, adjust as needed.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare correspondence, memos, documents and reports utilizing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Put together manuals, materials for meetings, etc.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings.
  • Manage travel accommodation.
  • Handle confidential and non-routine information.
  • Collect and input CRA hours working with CRA Officer.
  • Clear and constant communication with management and staff.
  • Recurring branch visits.
  • Maintain filing of key documents.
  • Answer phones and take messages or field questions as possible.
  • Manage the supplies and requisition system as necessary.
  • Maintenance and distribution of certain departmental and company periodicals.
  • Basic understanding of all bank deposit, non-deposit, and loan products with the ability to cross sell to new and existing clients.
  • Relay customer feedback and/or complaints to the Market President or Operations Officer immediately.
  • Coordination of seasonal client gifts and outreach opportunities.
  • Other miscellaneous support as deemed necessary
