The Community Corrections Facilities & Programs Bureau Chief provides strategic oversight of the Department’s community corrections programs, including contracted and state-operated assessment and sanction centers, prerelease centers, and treatment facilities. The Bureau Chief ensures rigorous monitoring of operations across 18 community corrections programs, in 13 locations around the state, ensuring appropriate management of more than 1,700 offenders while securing the strongest possible contractual outcomes for the State of Montana. In addition, this role directs Department staff assigned to the management of some state-owned buildings and the administration of the Department’s Rental Voucher Program and Transitional Assistance funds—ensuring accountability, operational excellence, and responsible stewardship of public resources.
