The Community Health Worker (CHW) will provide education, resources, and health education to patients, local community-based organizations, and community members. The ability to speak both English and Spanish is required to provide assistance to the English and Spanish-speaking patient population, community-based organizations, and members of the local community. In addition, Level II CHW will coordinate outreach and engagement activities, using a community-informed approach to address disparities in Arkansas. Level III CHW will plan, create, and deliver outreach materials and interventions. Level III CHWs will be members of a multidisciplinary outreach and implementation team that uses a community-based participatory research approach to support and educate the community through individual goal planning, case management, and group education and support. This position requires collaboration with various team members on multiple projects aimed at addressing public health responses and providing culturally appropriate outreach to hard-to-reach populations. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred. The Community Health Worker III (CHW III) will mentor and directly supervise Community Health Workers I (CHW I) or II (CHW II).
