Job Description: Job Summary: The Community Impact Intern is a key member of the team that is enabling and sharing Patterson’s philanthropy with employees, partners, and stakeholders. This position is responsible for supporting two main functions within Patterson: The Patterson Foundation and the Corporate Giving department. Partnering with the Sr. Manager and Grants Officer on both functions, this role will support the Patterson Foundation’s grantmaking and programming details related to the grants process and award distribution, event planning activities related to fundraising events, and provide basic reporting and documentation support. The Corporate Giving department will value this role’s participation in supporting national and local volunteer partnerships, employee engagement reporting, and basic process documentation. This is a perfect role for someone that enjoys event planning, making a difference with impactful nonprofits, feels good about the work they are doing in the community, geeks out over improving old processes, and isn’t bothered by working in a continually developing, oftentimes fluid department.
