About The Position

The Community Outreach & Engagement Coordinator represents Wee Care Corporation in community spaces, online groups, and at local events. This role responds to general inquiries in Facebook groups, supports engagement with families and potential providers, helps gather preliminary information for new member intakes, and ensures individuals are connected to the appropriate internal teams.

Requirements

Experience working with families or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
Strong communication and customer‑service skills; comfortable communicating online and in person.
Ability to assist families with intake steps in a clear, supportive, and compliance‑aligned manner.
Comfortable engaging with the public and representing the organization professionally.
Ability to work independently and maintain organized documentation.
Reliable transportation for events and community outreach.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Engage in community Facebook groups and online forums to answer general questions, provide resources, and educate families about Wee Care services.
Respond to posts from families seeking agency support, care options, or provider availability using approved language.
Attend local job fairs, resource fairs, school events, and disability‑related community events.
Build relationships with families, community partners, parent groups, schools, and advocacy organizations.
Assist with outreach and preliminary screening for potential providers.
Assist with new member intake processes, including: Gathering initial information from families, Providing an overview of the intake workflow, Ensuring families are connected to the Intake team, Supporting documentation collection or coordination tasks as assigned.
Identify new outreach opportunities online and in the community.
Document outreach activities and report trends or insights to leadership.
