Community Pharmacist Supervisor
About The Position
The Community Pharmacist Supervisor is responsible for providing safe, effective, appropriate, timely and cost-efficient medication therapy for patients and serving as the pharmacist-in-charge for the hospital'smunity pharmacy. This includes but is not limited to proper and safe distribution medication, rational drug selection, monitoring administration and responsibility for the patient's overall drug therapy. In addition, the manager will be responsible for legal and regulatorypliance for themunity pharmacy and will assist hospital pharmacy leadership with other operational activities like financial data review and tracking and budget and labor management.
Requirements
- Current Active Pharmacy License with Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree required
- >/=3 years of experience inmunity pharmacy OR >/= 1 year experience as a pharmacist-in-charge of amunity pharmacy in Texas
