About The Position

Community Program Manager Arcadia, FL | DeSoto Count y Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast Lead. Build. Stay Connected to the Mission. We are seeking a strong, community-focused leader to grow and strengthen mentoring programs in DeSoto County. This is a hands-on leadership role — ideal for someone who thrives on building partnerships, developing strategy, and also staying directly connected to the youth and volunteers we serve. This is not a purely administrative position. Our Community Program Manager leads from the front — maintaining an active match caseload while driving program growth, quality, and community presence. What Makes This Role Unique You will: ✔ Serve as the face of BBBS in DeSoto County ✔ Build and cultivate corporate and community partnerships ✔ Deliver presentations and represent us at local events ✔ Develop and execute a 12-month activity and training calendar ✔ Monitor program quality and performance metrics And also… ✔ Maintain an active caseload of mentoring matches ✔ Conduct match support, annual surveys, and outcome planning ✔ Participate in interviews, assessments, and match meetings ✔ Provide direct case management consultation when needed We believe strong leaders stay connected to the work. Requirements

  • Has 3–5+ years of experience in youth services, nonprofit leadership, or community engagement
  • Is confident presenting to businesses and community stakeholders
  • Is comfortable managing performance metrics and operational oversight
  • Values accountability, teamwork, and inclusivity
  • Understands that high-quality case management drives mission success
