Position: Community Relations Liaison Job Summary: The Community Relations Liaison plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining positive, collaborative relationships with community stakeholders. This position is primarily responsible for engaging community organizations, partners, and local leaders to promote awareness of the organization’s services and to build strategic partnerships that support and advance the mission. Through effective communication, outreach, and collaboration, the Liaison serves as a key ambassador for the organization within the community.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a clinical field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or recovery-oriented systems of care
Valid State of Ohio Driver's License, insurance, reliable vehicle
Ability to regularly drive to off-site meetings, community partner locations, outreach events, and referral appointments
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in business development, referral development, or external relations within a clinical or nonprofit environment
Knowledge of local community resources, referral networks, and service providers within the region
Experience conducting presentations, trainings, or community education sessions
Familiarity with CRM systems, referral tracking platforms, or outreach databases
Demonstrated success building and sustaining strategic partnerships

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, coalitions, service providers, and other stakeholders
Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and forums to promote programs, services, and recovery-oriented initiatives
Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership that align with organizational goals and enhance service delivery
Coordinate outreach efforts to increase community awareness, engagement, and referral pathways
Conduct regular meetings and presentations with referral partners to provide detailed information about our treatment services and the benefits of collaboration.
Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert of our program for community partners, ensuring timely communication and follow-up
Collaborate with internal departments to align community feedback with program development and improvement efforts
Assist in planning and supporting community education events, presentations, and outreach campaigns
Track and document community engagement activities, partnerships, and outcomes; prepare reports as requested
Assist in developing the facility’s comprehensive business development plan, both short and long term
Participate and support employee surveys to promote cooperative, interactive, supportive, and collective entrepreneurship
Cooperates in and supports LBHS's quality and performance improvement activities and initiatives
Promote culturally responsive, inclusive, and trauma-informed engagement practices
Perform other duties as assigned
