About The Position

The Community Relations Specialist assists in execution of the Regional Community Investment Strategy that supports and promotes the brand, maintains and develops client relationships, and makes a positive impact in our communities. This position is key to the success and growth of the region and supports major programs, corporate strategy, and key leadership initiatives. This position supports the leader which includes, but not limited to, the following administrative functions: Office Management Calendar & Phone Management Travel & Expense Management Financial Reporting Business Continuity (non retail) This role works closely with regional and market leadership to: Develop and support a market strategy that drives client growth and revenue Support banking teams in order to develop and sustain client relationships Operationalize brand at the ground level Position the company as a leader in the community Integrate corporate communications and marketing strategies within regions Promote attraction and retention of talent Provide market level feedback to corporate communications and marketing partners These objectives are achieved through: Creating and executing market level differentiating events and client experiences to build relationships with clients and centers of influence Working with marketing to execute on large and/or targeted events in the markets Developing and executing a community investment strategy that aligns with corporate guidelines and addresses the pressing needs of each community. Including budget management, acting as primary relationship owner of nonprofit and civic organizations, and providing ROI Serving as a Liaison to CRA to achieve market level CRA donation goals and objectives Representing the company at meetings and events Fostering associate engagement in the community and in the workplace Additional Responsibilities CRA Market Liaison Work with non-profits to set up CRA service hour opportunities for employees in your market. Encourage and influence associates to volunteer Ensure associates log service hours into the Kadince Review tracking sheets monthly to ensure the market is achieving required targets. Assist your PR/Foundation representative as needed with logging CRA donations into Kadince Advisory Board Coordinator Coordinates quarterly regional advisory board meetings. Processes payments and verifications

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of community relations or financial services experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with internal and external audiences
  • Self-motivated and team oriented
  • Committed to high-quality work product
  • Discretion to manage highly confidential information
  • Ability to work efficiently with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent time-management, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a high-paced, high urgency environment that requires discretion, diplomacy and judgment.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office

Nice To Haves
