About The Position

Sells new and used equipment available to the sales professional with a specialized focus on Compact Construction Equipment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of equipment operational practices preferred
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Ability to communicate professionally on the phone, in person, and through email
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Outgoing personality and self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Professionally represents the company while building sales relationships with current and potential customers in the defined sales area
  • Work together with other sales staff and departments when specialist knowledge is necessary
  • Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment
  • Monitors competitive activity and products and timely communications to management accordingly
  • Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
  • Knows and follows the defined sales process of the company
  • Maintains assigned company vehicles and equipment
  • Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events and trade shows
  • Conducts equipment field demonstrations
  • Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communications to management
  • Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
  • Attends applicable sales training events, seminars, and meetings
