About The Position

We’re on a mission to support small and midsized medical practices as they work to comply with critical, ongoing healthcare compliance requirements. We’re looking for a Compliance Program Advisor who thrives in a strategic, high-impact role, loves building deep relationships with clients, and is motivated by helping organizations succeed in compliance. You’ll interface with a portfolio of our largest and most strategically important clients, guiding compliance leaders and key compliance stakeholders through long-term compliance program strategy, regulatory challenges, and risk management, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions, insights, and proactive guidance. This is a remote role with opportunities to meet virtually or in-person for strategic business reviews, planning sessions, and team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proven 5-7 years of experience in healthcare compliance, risk management, or related fields, preferably as a compliance practitioner in a small or midsized healthcare provider environment. Candidates with consulting, advisory or academic backgrounds will also qualify
  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks most applicable to small and midsized covered entities, including HIPAA, OSHA, and FWA. Familiarity with broader data and privacy frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, SOC 2, etc.) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic guidance and high-level advice to senior stakeholders. You are definitionally comfortable controlling a room and projecting your perspective as an expert.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. You thrive on engaging in a high-volume of meaningful conversations and are exhilarated by providing advice that gets people over obstacles.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable strategies, insights and tips. A premium will be placed on candidates that can demonstrate a proven track record of creating frameworks/models that can be productized and consumed across our customer base.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities while delivering high-quality, strategic outcomes.
  • Comfort working in a highly cross-functional, collaborative role in a growth environment that provides new and varying challenges on a week-to-week basis.

  • Familiarity with broader data and privacy frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, SOC 2, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a strategic compliance advisor by offering high-level, informational guidance on regulatory trends, program design, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted partner and resource for long-term compliance strategy. In hiring you, we want to offer our customers access to a “trusted peer” that they feel understands their position and provides them pragmatic, helpful perspectives.
  • Become deeply familiar with our platform The Guard, ensuring that the majority of recommendations delivered to clients map their next steps back to the software and its adoption.
  • Analyze complex compliance needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance client programs and employee experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams - especially customer success, sales and content production - to ensure seamless delivery of compliance solutions, integration with other client services and constant alignment with Compliancy Group’s perspective on effective compliance management.
  • Identify opportunities for clients to improve compliance processes, reduce risk, and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging compliance challenges to provide proactive guidance.
  • Support business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise for proposals and client presentations.
  • Act as a customer advocate, informing internal teams - especially product and content production - on areas of improvement for our product, content and their positioning
  • Act as a thought leader, occasionally leading prospect- and customer-facing webinars that coach our customer universe on compliance trends and best practices
  • Accurately track time spent delivering advisory services and categorize requests to support capacity planning and service boundaries
