About The Position

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the area of comprehensive ophthalmology to expand our academic practice. There is immediate opportunity to engage in a busy tertiary clinical practice in an established longstanding department with a brand new, state-of-the-art clinic and surgery center. In addition to delivering excellence in patient care, the successful candidate will have ample opportunities to develop independent and collaborative research initiatives and to contribute to innovative educational programs within a dynamic academic medical center. Requirements

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Licensure (or eligibility) to practice medicine in the State of Florida
