About The Position

Overview GENERAL DESCRIPTION Provides Computed Tomography imaging procedures within the scope of practice, including receiving and preparing patients and equipment for procedures and maintaining supplies for the CT department. Produces high-quality scans by following protocols set forth by the radiology department. Operates CT equipment in a safe and proficient manner within the boundaries of competence, based on documented education, training, supervised experience, state, and national professional credentials, and appropriate professional experience. Works with students from approved educational institutions. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS • Associate's degree from a 2-year college or technical school; or two years (60 credit hours) coursework from 4-year College or university; or three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • At least six (6) months of Computed Tomography experience. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS • Must be currently certified in Radiography and Computed Tomography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) (CT). • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire and maintained throughout employment. • Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. OTHER REQUIREMENTS • The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). • Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for childcare. THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A SIGN-ON BONUS OF UP TO $10,000.00
