About The Position

HII – Mission Technologies is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator to support the United States Air Force Weapons School at Nellis Air Force Base. This role is ideal for IT professionals who are skilled in system administration, cybersecurity compliance, and enterprise-level support within a secure environment.

Requirements

  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Experience with Visio and Project
  • Experience implementing and managing Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange in an Air Force enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with DISA Defense Enterprise Email and user enablement.
  • Experience supporting Squadron/Unit, Operations Group, or higher‑level staff organizations.
  • IA Technical Level II certification (GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP), compliant with DoDD 8570 and 8570.01‑M.

Responsibilities

  • Assess systems and networks to identify deviations from approved configurations, security policies, and baseline standards.
  • Evaluate and support incident response procedures and capabilities.
  • Scan systems for network vulnerabilities and perform required updates and remediation.
  • Create and delete user and computer accounts on SIPRNet and NIPRNet.
  • Perform workstation support: software installation, printer troubleshooting (toner, fuser, IP config), system rebuilds, account unlocks, and PKI hardware/software setup.
  • Configure organizational mailbox permissions and set up VPN clients.
  • Enforce compliance with NOTAMs, update IA training, install CAC certificates, configure new contractor accounts, and manage SharePoint security groups.
  • Reset SIPRNet passwords and coordinate TACLANE rekeying as required.
  • Support and coordinate EMSEC inspections.
  • Prepare and submit configuration documentation, build computer images, and support CMI issues and resolutions.
