About The Position

This full-time, on-campus faculty position in the Computer Technology department will begin with the Fall 2026 semester. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a combination of day, evening, and online courses. Teaching load is governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which currently requires a workload equivalent to 15 credit hours per semester. In addition to teaching, the faculty member will actively contribute to curriculum development, academic advising to students and in-person oversight of the lab space.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the industry
  • Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript, Python, Java, C, C++, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+, EC-Council CEH, or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, etc.
  • Experience teaching college-level computer courses
  • Involvement in professional organizations and networks related to computer technology
