About The Position

The CMMS Coordinator supports DECM Maintenance operations by implementing and administering the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) across regional yard and institutional maintenance teams, coordinating data workflows, providing end user support, and sustaining reliable system performance to enable work order, asset, and maintenance reporting for the Department of Adult Correction.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of related administrative experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

Previously demonstrated experience within maintenance and/or construction administration.
Documented experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, Enterprise Asset Management Systems, or similar enterprise level database software used to track and manage operational data.
Experience with administering computerized software systems, such as managing ongoing operations, providing user support and training, and performing system maintenance.

Responsibilities

Implement the CMMS rollout for DECM Maintenance Regional Yard and institutional maintenance personnel
Coordinate timelines and stakeholder communication during initial and ongoing deployment.
Administer daily system operations, including user account setup, permissions management, and routine maintenance to ensure stable CMMS functionality.
Provide end user training and support; prepare job aids and respond to user inquiries to improve adoption and data quality.
Collect, organize, and analyze maintenance data (e.g., work orders, asset records) to produce summaries and operational reports for management.
Monitor and reconcile CMMS records and workflows to align with DECM maintenance processes across regional and institutional teams.
Coordinate with DECM engineering, construction, and maintenance stakeholders to capture field requirements and reflect them in system configuration and procedures.
Document procedures and maintain records to support reporting and continuous improvement of maintenance operations
