About The Position

MicroTech is seeking a COMSEC Support Specialist to provide enterprise-level COMSEC (communications security) support to FORSCOM and subordinate units. Responsibilities include program management, compliance, technical support, training, and coordination in accordance with Army and DoD security requirements.

Requirements

• Experience supporting COMSEC / COMSEC programs
• Knowledge of AR 380-40 and related DA/DoD security policies
• Experience with KMI, KOA, DACAP, and ISSP functions
• Ability to prepare reports, briefings, and technical documentation
• Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Manage and support COMSEC programs in compliance with DA, DoD, and NSA policies
• Develop and maintain COMSEC policies, SOPs, management plans, and reports
• Serve as the DACAP liaison for FORSCOM and subordinate units
• Safeguard classified and cryptographic materials (storage, handling, transport, destruction)
• Support cryptographic infrastructure, user management, and modernization efforts
• Provide guidance for KMI, KOA, KOA Agents, and MGC Node operations
• Assist with COMSEC incident response and resolution
• Support system upgrades and approved technology changes
• Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments
• Review audits, inspections, and POA&Ms
• Track compliance metrics and report risks to leadership
• Support inspections, SAVs, and accreditation activities
• Develop and deliver COMSEC training materials and briefings
• Track training compliance using approved systems
• Coordinate with government stakeholders and subordinate units
• Participate in program meetings and working groups
