An Intern’s responsibilities and duties vary drastically depending on the department their internship is assigned with.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in a related field.

  • Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions
  • Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalismThe ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools or software
  • Previous internship or related experience is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving abilities
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program

Responsibilities

  • Assist with departmental tasks as assigned.
  • Attending team meetings and taking minutes.
  • Job shadowing, receiving training, and gaining proficiency in industry-specific software.
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks to support the team
  • Conduct research and gather data for projects
  • Help prepare reports and presentations
  • Engage in hands-on project work relevant to the internship field
  • Maintain organized files and documentation
