This position works in the Concessions Pool Diner. Responsibilities include but are not limited to food preparation, taking, and serving orders, point of sale with cash/card, making sure Kosher rules are followed, and keeping a clean, safe working environment. Responsibilities Assist the Concession Manager with opening and/or closing duties. Help keep grills and fryers clean and in good working order. Count and total cash drawer at beginning and end of shift, making sure the bank balances. Notifying manager if change is needed. Take food and beverage orders from the customers. Record and process the orders in our computerized POS system, collect payment and deposit cash. Prepare and serve food and beverage orders. Keep a clean, safe working environment. Let the manager know if anything needs attention. Clean dishes, counters, and floor space throughout shift as necessary. Ensure the concession area is cleaned before leaving. If stock is low notify the manager. Other duties as assigned by manager. Work Conditions Will work Concession (air-conditioned with window to customers outdoors) which serves the JCC outdoor pool area.
