About The Position

Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Concierge Banker I to join the team in our Community Banking department. As a Concierge Banker, you will deliver a World Class Experience by providing exceptional financial services to our valued clients. You will manage high-net-worth individuals' financial portfolios, offering personalized banking solutions, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. As a key player in the organization, the position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with deposit clients, ensuring that their needs are met with tailored solutions that align with their goals. You will be located in Montecito, CA with a fully on-site work schedule, and travel throughout the Bank’s footprint when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in banking sales management, extraordinary client service, and client/prospect calling required.
  • Proven sales track record in generating deposit growth required.
  • Proficiency in financial software, loan processing, loan origination, basic math, and financial services.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes an entrusted banker-client relationship, coordinating assigned client financial needs through a proactive and disciplined approach that reaches across multiple lines of business and service/support teams.
  • Utilizes financial software to analyze client portfolios and recommend appropriate financial products.
  • Administers Services, LB, Credit Card Portal Access, Notarizations, Wires, Cashier Checks, Payment assistance, Account reconciliations, Travel Notifications and other client needs.
  • Identifies opportunities from existing clients to be their sole provider and develop new relationships externally through referrals, personal community involvement, and internal partners.
  • Informs and makes introduction to appropriate Lending, Investment, and Business Banking teams.
  • Proactively communicates with clients about current conditions in the financial markets and necessary adjustments to their investment strategies and holdings consistent with CNB perspectives.
  • Profile across the full spectrum of the needs of personal banker target segments and provide expert advice in collaboration with the client team.
